Jewelry making bending and shaping techniques can give your designs a whole new dimension and interest.
It can make the light reflect or bounce on your piece; thereby creating unexpected and exciting designs.
By adding Curves, bends and twist can be made into intricate features that enhance your jewelry making.
I recommend that before you begin you decide exactly where you want the the bend to be placed. Think where it would be more aesthetically pleasing.
The idea is to get the metal and wire bend the first time you work with them; however, don’t panic, you can un-bend the metal and start again.
Sometimes, I just put a "mistake" piece aside and come back to it latter. Some of my best pieces have been created in this way.
